Awful company. Avoid like the plague. Box of plants arrived broken and mangled. Nothing that could be grown. 4 emails later and no response. Wish I'd checked reviews first. With so many bad reviews I honestly don't know how they are still in business.

I ordered a herb (large plants) selection of 10 plants early April. They arrived in June. They were tiny and two of each herb. Not at all as advertised. Emailed them constantly to return for full refund but they do not reply. Will never order from them again.

Had ordered 48 plants .Still awaiting 24 plants. Have being emailing them for the last 2 weeks. No response!Disgusted with their customer care.Will never buy from them. Stay well clear!

Ordered 2 indoor plants which were well-boxed and arrived within a few days. The first, (Chamaedorea palm) was fine and healthy. However, the second plant (Zamioculcas) had some rot and died within a week. Apparently, this condition can occur if the Zamioculcas has been previously overwatered. Some soil had spilled inside the boxes, as you can't trust the postie to pay attention to the this-way-up arrows...I was handed the boxes horizontally instead of upright. 25th April 2021 update. Gardening Direct have emailed an apology and are sending a replacement.29th April 2021. Received replacement plant. Appears very healthy, so am happy to give 5 stars here for putting things right. Thank you.

Awful experience, sadly I have order a lot of plants and no one answers the phone or responds to emails. Both my plants arrived dead! Have more coming and want to cancel my order. Very disappointed with the service so far. My advice is go elsewhere and don’t waste your money like me. Awful!

Having a good experience with my order last year I decided to place an order for 2021. I foolishly ordered without checking the reviews first. What a mistake, as three out of the four packages arrived with plants damaged and knocked out of their cells. With careful handling I managed to salvage most of the plants but some were damaged so much they would never recover. I am so disappointed with the packaging and delivery I won't be placing any more orders in future and certainly will not be making recommendations.

I bought 12 Mega wallflower plants [order no.#000009225] .. they arrived yesterday in appalling state. They were not packed properly, half of the plants had been dislodged from the planters. I wish I could upload photos to show how bad it was. Not only were they are squashed up in the box but the size is not right, different from the image advertised on the website. I have written to the company and I will be requesting a refund because I doubt if any one of the plants will survive.I should have checked here before I bought from them. This is the last time purchase ANY place from online garden shops... They have all been a huge disappointment. I will getting all my plants from the local flower market from now on.

@July 2020 - I have ordered from, and been delighted by, gardeningdirect co uk for years but, a few months ago, a malware warning was issued for their site when I tried to click on their website. I tried to contact them because, either they have forgotten to pay up for a web-related license, or else their site has been compromised but I received no response and I continue to receive warnings via trusted anti spyware, malware programme. Please can someone look into this; there is no telling just how much business they have lost because of this warning. They have a serious problem and I would really like to order from them again. The warning is from Malwarebytes and reads as follows: "Website blocked due to reputation. Blocked because it may contain malware activity. We strongly recommend you do not continue. This website is suspected of being compromised or hosting a potential privacy or security threat." No one can afford to be passing on security threats to their customers these days, the repercussions for them could be serious. GD, please look into this and then issue an email to say that it's fixed. Thank you.

Absolute disaster! Order was too late and some of it didn't arrive at all. Plants were in very poor condition and have yet to flower. Don't waste your money.

Should give us all our money back what an absolute shambolic company Ungrowable plants no customer service no replies Need we all go on Trustpilot should now give minus Star rating as this company really does not deserve the one star I have had to give it Hopefully it will cease trading and stop people from being ripped off Not a gambler but I bet it blames it all on Covid19 but other companies are delivering on their promises

Ordered lobelia plants from here on 15th April ,had no plants and after sending 3 emails no reply.!!Very unprofessional feel totally ripped off.

Wish I had read these reviews before I bought off them.Very disappointed and very overpriced. Will not use again
